Postdoctoral Researcher in CosmologyThe University of California at Berkeley expects to make a postdoctoral research appointment in cosmology theory and/or analysis related to cosmological models and probes of the accelerating universe. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with members of the Supernova/Acceleration Probe (SNAP) project at the UC Space Sciences Lab and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, designing a next generation experiment in dark energy. Knowledge and competence in weak gravitational lensing or Monte Carlo statistical techniques is a plus. The position could start anytime between Fall 2006 and Fall 2007.
